Mike Trello has nearly thirty years of IT experience, having both an undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Computer Science from Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL, and graduate degree Management of Information Systems from the University of Illinois, Springfield.  Mike is currently employed as senior programmer analyst for UTG, Inc, working remotely from  the comfort of his home office.  Working in a small shop provides him with endless challenges.  Mike Trello’s experience ranges from web development to .NET to electronic imaging to extensive VMWare ESXi and VDI experience, with a lot in between.  He has had much database experience with mainframe and network DB2, a wide range of SQL Server versions, and MySQL. He has converted the company’s DB2 environments to SQLServer, then the SQLs from 2012, to 2014, then to a HA 2016 configuration.  He helped move the organization from an on-prem data center to a managed datacenter, and is slowly moving them into the cloud.

He is adept at hardware configurations to get the most performance for the dollar. Mike enjoys his home network and working with his R710 and R510 servers.  Mike runs ArcadeCab.com, an invaluable resource used by people from around the world since 2003. Mike has two great children, Alex and Chase, who keep him very busy.
